Healthcare Recruiter/Business Development Specialist - Wellington, FL

 

The Healthcare Recruiter / Business Development Specialist will fulfill work duties of a blended position that includes managing the scheduling and coordination of clinicians' virtual interviews (Doctoral and Masters level therapists) while handling all contract related paperwork. This individual will also be an integral part of the marketing leadership team to strategically drive the continued internal and external growth potential of the business.  Most work will be performed in Cotler's corporate office, however, some driving to customer and referral source target locations for cold-calls and scheduled meetings will be required.  Thus, the ability to multi-task and balance the work load while operating in a variety of fast-paced settings is expected.

The ideal candidate will have a charismatic and persuasive personality.  He or she will exude executive presence, while demonstrating excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service.  

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the scheduling and coordinating of long-term care community clinician interviews.
  • Coordinating new clinician training sessions.
  • Ensuring all contract related paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Updating various reports/spreadsheets for the executive team.
  • Advertising and updating job postings through various methods and innovative avenues as required for home office position and long-term care opportunities.
  • Cold calling potential clinicians for work.
  • Effectively coordinating the execution of Cotler provider agreements (contracts) with accuracy.
  • Closely working with staffing department to match new and existing clinicians to open positions in long-term care communities.
  • Performing internal workload satisfaction calls to clinicians in order to update staffing lists and generate internal marketing lists for the Internal Marketing team.
  • Executing inside sales strategies effectively with a combination of client engagement and development activities including clinical education, customer service, problem resolution, and customer retention calls.
  • Maintaining accurate engagement records of prospective sales pipelines with the ability to provide a weekly report of activities and results to the executive team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Executive presence
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of motivation and strong productive energy
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills accompanied by the flexibility to quickly adapt to any new business environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to build successful business relationships
  • 2+ years proven recruiting and sales track record in a professional business environment (preferably healthcare)
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and multi-task as needed
  • An outgoing and charismatic personality, demonstrating persuasiveness and the ability to be assertive when necessary
  • A good team player with the ability to think outside the box and problem solve
  • Solid work ethic

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Healthcare related field, Communication, Marketing or Business Administration
  • Healthcare knowledge/experience preferred
  • Previous recruitment experience a must
  • Applicant Tracking System experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
